About the Role
Looking for experienced Avionics Technicians to install modern general avionics systems. Airframe and or power plant certificate a plus but not required. Individuals should have basic troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins. Lay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systems following documentation such as wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents. Assemble components such as switches, electrical controls and junction boxes. Using hand tools, crimping tools, heat gun and soldering irons required. Technician should be able to work within specific allotted time and produce quality workmanship to customers standards and FAA requirements.
Willing to work 40hr per week, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with occasion overtime a possibility.
Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English clearly and accurately.
Must be able pass pre-employment drug test
Familiar in the use of avionics tooling: Multimeter, ramp test equipment, and crimping tools
Capable of following electronic schematics
Wire harness assembly
Basic troubleshooting and repair of installed avionics systems
Altitude reporting systems
Pitot/static and transponder system testing
Previous installation experience on various makes and models of MFD, GPS, Nav/Com
Familiar with G600 installs, GFC600, GTN750, GI275, G5 and GTX345 installs
Garmin, Honeywell, and PS Engineering
Avionics Associates Degree
